The SAFARILAND® leather model has Closed Loop Duty Belt Retention preferred by mounted troops and motorcycle officers. It has a thumb release safety strap. Press down and forward to release. It is also available in plastic with a conventional belt clasp and thumb release tension strap. Also available is the ALS™ model with an Automatic Locking System that releases with a sliding button on the top.
